Time Marches On!

I told you this would be fast!  We're already in 2015.. and thank heavens, no moving happened this year.  ( We like to keep light footed, but living in a place for less than a year was a record for us.  I digress...)  We were still in St. Louis, in our beloved neighborhood and with girls growing like weeds by a river in summer.

So this girl turned 14.  Wow.  She used to look so short.
Its a delight to see our children blossoming into all that God has for them!

She went to her first school dance - which was themed "St. Louis" and so everyone came dressed in St. Louis garb.  They served Fitz Sodas, and Imo's Pizza (its an experience all unto itself), and they had custard from Ted Drewes for dessert... and she danced the night away.

We enjoyed friends... This is Xavier!

We were making Valentine cards!

This is our "girls book club" that we hosted once a month - it was wonderful!

We learned about balloon artistry - which one girl decided to take up as a hobby!

Everyone gets these looks from their kids from time to time... that look that says "Mom, I can't believe you are making me pose for this photo"... Right? :)

We played in the snow!!

And sister love continued... the hilarity is there every. single. day.

We colored eggs for Easter...

And Daddy continued to be silly...

And the cat found more luxury and blankets to nest in...

And this kid - she just keeps getting taller!

We made the trip out to see the Colorado... here we are at The Garden of the gods

We loved seeing the great grandparents!
They were moving out of their RV (after about 30 years!) into more permanent digs...

And everyone got to hold baby John... so so sweet...

Grandpa gave mowing lessons...

After we came home - this girl graduated from 8th grade!
Next year - high school.  Um.  I think I am getting old now.

We enjoyed a visit from a dear friend -
It was so good to see Jeremy and have him be brave and stay with us -
even with his cat allergy!

Winter on our St. Louis street - what a heavenly view!
